A new quarterly gathering for local crafters, makers, and curious creatives is launching in Rotherham.
Backed by local arts champions, Flux Rotherham, and led by experienced makers, this is more than just a craft club. It’s a space to learn new skills, share ideas and techniques and connect with like-minded people.
The launch event takes place at Riverside Library in Rotherham town centre on Saturday 8th November 2025, 10.30am - 2.30pm.
The new collectives is set to create a space to help local people to learn new skills, share ideas and techniques, connect with like-minded people and be inspired and inspiring.
A spokesperson for Rotherham Craft Collective, said: "It's welcome to all crafters! That includes community groups or solo crafters. It'll be friendly and welcoming, and give you the chance to meet people who enjoy similar skills."
Flux Rotherham has a number of events taking place in November, including Lantern Making Workshops, Story Walks, creative sessions for young people, poetry writing sessions and an open mic night and hands-on pottery sessions.
