Plans were approved in 2015 to enable a 22,000 sq ft unit at Parkgate to be used for leisure uses and Jump Inc opened in Rotherham first with Super Tramps, parkour obstacle courses, dodgeball courts and BigAirBags.
In 2018, new plans were approved for the "next generation of adrenaline fuelled fun" replacing the trampolines with wall-to-wall inflatables.
Thought to be the UK's largest indoor inflatable park, Jump Inc Rotherham has now been renamed as AirHop Rotherham.
Norwegian business AirHop, bought Jump Inc in 2024.
The huge indoor arena includes ginormous slides and giant wipe-out balls, a ninja course and a deicated toddler area.
AirHop runs high-energy Open Jump for ages 4+, playful Toddler Takeover for little ones aged 1–6, inclusive SEN Sessions offering a calmer jump environment, and relaxed Family Takeover sessions.
