The spooks will be out in force for Fright Fiesta during Halloween season at Gulliver’s Valley, looking to ensure a freakily fun time for all the family.
Fright Fiesta is one of the most popular events of the year at the Rotherham theme park, a lively, festival-style atmosphere brimming with colour, costumes, and music.
Visitors can show off their fancy-dress costumes, delve deep into the theme park to discover its spooktacular rides and indulge in lots of ‘meet and greets’ with their favourite characters.
And there are two events specifically for half-term week - daring adventurers can step onto ‘Ghouliver’s Travelator’ for a spooky, immersive journey across a Halloween landscape before arriving at Midnight Manor Hotel, and if guests book online and buy the Trick or Treat bucket add-on, they can take the exhilarating Trick or Treat Trail experience!
Fright Fiesta is open for the weekends of October 10-11 and October 17-18, and then from October 24 to November 1 for half-term.
The park is open 10.30am-4pm for Fright Fiesta, with children under 90cms going free.
Phil Bracegirdle, resort manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “Our team loves Fright Fiesta, seeing everyone - young and old - having fun and enjoying the spooky atmosphere around the resort. The Haunted Mansion is very cool, and Ghouliver’s Travelator through the Halloween landscape promises to be one scary trip!”
There are more than 50 exciting rides, attractions, shows and activities at Gulliver’s Valley, such has Apache Falls and Ghostly Galleon pirate ship, a mini-zoo, the Lost Jurassic World area – with animatronic dinosaurs and Gulliver’s Gears – which boasts two brand new rides, Turbo Tower and Crazy Planes, as well as the Grand Prix Racers rollercoaster and a range of classic cars.
Guests can make their Fright Fiesta visit that extra bit special by daring to go for a spooky sleepover, booking in for an overnight stay in the wonderful accommodation available at Gulliver’s Valley, ranging from Unicorn and Princess Suites to Pirate Lodges and Mermaid Dens, along with Lost World Lodges and the Megalodon Lodge.
